To select the account to merge:

  1. Log in as a learner with site admin role.
  2. Look up the username of both accounts in the manage users page. These usernames are needed in later steps.
  3. Click the wrench to open the admin menu.
  4. Click “EthosCE Admin."
  5. Click "Merge users."
  6. Search for the account to remove by entering the account username name or email address into the "The name of the account you wish to removeMerge from" field and click "Apply."
  7. Search for the account to keep by entering the account username name or email address into the "The name of the account you wish to keep" field.Merge to" field and click "Apply."
  8. Click the radio button next to the appropriate account in each column.
  9. Click "Merge users."
  10. Select an option in the "Action to perform on the account you wish to remove" field.
    1. "Block" will lock the account and prevent the account from being used. 
    2. "Delete" will remove the account and is irreversible.
  11. Click "Review account data."
