Credit Calculator
The Credit Calculator course object is a tool to assist learners in claiming the correct amount of credit for multi-day sessions with many presentations, or, for single-day events with limited presentations. The learner is able to select each session attended and claim the proper amount of credit they wish to receive. The credit calculator must be present on the course outline directly before the credit course object. Learners will select their variable credit options and will immediately be award the credit upon reaching the course credit object.
To use the Credit Calculator:
Add the Credit Calculator object to the outline.
Click the ‘Agenda’ tab from the course landing page.
Use the Agenda Lab tool to create the activity agenda.
Copy the program agenda from the Agenda Lab tool.
Paste the program agenda in the ‘Agenda’ field and click ‘Submit.
A preview of the agenda view can be found by clicking on the ‘Preview’ tab. When learners access the Credit Calculator course object, they will see the presentation selection form as displayed in the agenda preview.
In order to use the Credit Calculator, only active variable credit types must be enabled on the course. If Non-variable credit types are enabled, the system will bypass the Credit Calculator object.
