Site administrators will learn how to incorporate existing courses from the main site into a dedicated learning group.

Methods of Incorporating Courses into a Learning Group

Adding a learning group typically involves two methods. Firstly, you can incorporate an existing course from your site into the learning group.

A single course can only be part of one learning group.

Alternatively, you have the option to create a course directly within the learning group.

Creating a course within a learning group follows the same steps as creating a course outside of the learning group. You can enroll in the on-demand Course Administration training to learn how to create a course.

Navigate to the desired course

Click Edit

Click Publishing

In the Groups Audience section, select which group you’d like the course to belong to

Click Save

If you've added a course to a private learning group, any user without access to the group will not be able to access the course.
