Variable Pricing

This section contains instructions for how to add and manage variable pricing to a course or other product.

For example:

  • The introduction to phlebology course may cost $100

  • The introduction to phlebology course and a DVD cost $150.

You will need to have your course created before adding variable pricing.

The initial steps to adding variable pricing options are:

  1. Create a pricing attribute.

  2. Set the site-wide defaults for pricing adjustments.

  3. Add the attributes to a course.

  4. Set the course-specific pricing adjustments.

If the attribute has already been created, steps 1 & 2 above may be skipped.

It is possible to have no sell price and paid attributes on courses, only if the global product setting is changed to allow ALL products in the cart, even free products. Please open a support ticket to have this global setting in place.
