Changing the Status Message

If the learner attempts to move pass the pass/fail course object and it is not yet complete, a status message is shown.

To change the messages shown to a learner:

1. Navigate to the course.

2. Click the "Course outline" tab.

3. Click "Settings" next to the manual step course object.

4. Click the "Manual step" tab.

5. Type the messages that should be shown to learners:

   • Complete - this message is displayed to the learner when they are marked complete.

   • Failed - this message is displayed to the learner when they are marked incomplete.

   • Incomplete - this message is displayed to the learner when they have not yet received a status.

6. Click the "Update" button.

7. Click the "Save outline" button.
