Adding Fields to a Webform

To add a new field:

  1. Navigate to a Webform.

  2. Click "Webform" tab.

  3. Type the label in the "New component name" field.

  4. Select the type of field from the dropdown list in the "Type" column.

  5. Check the "Required" checkbox if the learner must fill out the field.

  6. Click the "Add" button.

  7. Review the available options for the selected field type. Some important options are:

    • Max length: restrict the amount of characters that may be put into a field

    • Default value: pre-fill a field with a value that may be edited later

  8. Click the "Save component" button.

  9. Repeat steps 1-6 to add more fields.

  10. Click "View" tab to preview.
