Restricting enrollment by role prevents users without the specified role from enrolling. 

For example, if the "site admin" role is checked, only site admins can enroll into that course.

To restrict enrollment by course prerequisite

  1. Navigate to the course.

  2. Click "EDIT."

  3. Click "Pre-requisites."

  4. Check the checkboxes next to the role(s) allowed to enroll in the "Restrict enrollment to roles" field.

  5. Click "Save."
